Many Nascar fans have hated Jeff Gordon for many years. I always wondered why, so I did a little research and these are the four reasons that kept popping up.
4. Jeff Gordon is a pre-Madonna. What? Many fans felt that he did not pay his dues, that he was just given the spot on a great team with great equipment.
3. Jeff Gordon is a crybaby. Again, what? Many fans feel that every time he loses he blames someone and cries that it is their fault and not his.
2. Jeff Gordon must be gay. What? Because he doesn’t have a Skoal ring and he originally hails from California he is an outsider to most Nascar fans.
1. Jeff Gordon is treated differently by Nascar. Many fans believe that there is a conspiracy between Nascar and Jeff Gordon that allows Gordon to dominate.
These are the top reasons for hating Jeff Gordon, I for one don’t. I think he is a great athlete with an excellent will to win.
